If Peseiro wants to keep this 3-4-3 formation for the rest of the tournament, he needs:

[1] To move Ola Aina to left back and play Samuel Osayi-Samuel as rightback. Zaidu Sanusi is the weak link in that defence. He reminds me of Mobi Okparaku in France 98 and Gbenga Okunowo in 2000

[2] He needs to drop Frank Onyeka for the returning Alhassan Yusuf

[3] He needs to get the old Simon Moses back. Had he been his usual self, we would have scored about three goals in both games

[4] He needs to get the team psychologist to work on Victor Osimhen. Some of these misses are in the head. At Napoli he would be burying half of those chances he missed yesterday

[5] He needs to keep his back three in the same form they were yesterday. Ekong, Ajayi and Bassey were all rock solid

[6] We need to defend deep to prevent runners in behind the defence. Ekong and Ajayi are not quick

[7] Alex Iwobi needs to maintain the defensive discipline he showed yesterday. He tracked back a lot

[8] Ademola Lookman needs to learn how to take shots on goal without taking a touch to control the ball first. He lost at least two chances that way yesterday

[9] These boys need to work on defence-splitting passes. We wasted at least five counter-attacks yesterday because the boys lacked the ability to thread through balls to team mates

[10] Peseiro needs to big Stanley Nwabali up big time. This young man has come to Nigeria’s rescue and solved a national crisis for us. I would love to see him move to Europe before the end of this tournament. Hopefully, some scout has spotted him
