Ososo, a magnificent, picturesque community nestled in the hills of Edo State, recently found itself at the heart of the Nigerian film industry once again, this time as the backdrop for the newly premiered movie, ‘I Bad’ that brought together culture, creativity, and community spirit.
His Royal Majesty The Olososo of Ososo, Oba (King) Bamidele Obaitan was in attendance at the exclusive premiere, held at the Sir Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub in Benin City. The king attended in honour of the production shot within the kingdom, highlighting the significance of the creative economy to Ososo’s future. While it was a celebration of film, it was also a reminder of what such ventures bring to a community: jobs, tourism and cultural pride.
