Clement Bibisa Kekemeke Esq. has been overwhelmingly elected as the new Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Yenagoa Branch, following elections held on Saturday, June 21, 2025. Mr. Kekemeke secured a decisive victory with 243 votes, against his opponent, Pere Amanda Egbuson, who garnered 136 votes.

A seasoned legal professional admitted to the Nigerian Bar on November 15, 2007, and the Principal Partner at Serene Solicitors & Advocates, C.B. Kekemeke Esq. has a distinguished record of dedicated service to the “Glory Bar.” His extensive contributions include serving as Secretary of the NBA-Yenagoa Publicity Committee (2013-2015), Human Rights Committee (2017-2019), and Law Reforms Committee (2021-2023). He also notably chaired the NBA-Yenagoa AGC Planning Committee in Lagos (2022) and the NBA-Yenagoa Welfare Committee (2023-present), among other key roles.
In his acceptance remarks following the announcement of results, Kekemeke stated, “This victory is a collective mandate. It is a call to build a stronger, more united, and inclusive Bar that works for all members, young and senior alike. I am deeply humbled by your trust, and I pledge to serve with fairness, openness, and dedication.”
