Comrade Hezekiah Adebiyi Awojobi, an indigene of Okeho in Kajola Local Government Area of Oyo State, has emerged as Chairman-Elect of the Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria (ACHPN), Oyo State Chapter.

His emergence was announced in a congratulatory graphic released by the association’s Integrity Group, which celebrated his election to lead the state chapter. The group described the development as a mark of confidence in his leadership and congratulated him on his emergence.

The Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria is a professional body that represents community health practitioners across the country. It promotes professional development, quality community-based healthcare delivery, preventive health services and improved access to essential healthcare, particularly at the grassroots.

Community health practitioners often serve as the first point of contact for residents of rural and semi-urban communities, providing primary healthcare services such as immunisation, maternal and child healthcare, health education and disease prevention.
