Mindgames Incorporated is excited to announce the maiden edition of MGI Virtual Secondary School Scrabble Championship to be held from February 12 – 13, 2021. The tournament will be played on the Woogles platform online (www.woogles.io) with a star prize of 250,000 Naira on offer and is open to all secondary school students in Nigeria. Trophies and plaques will also be presented to top schools and students respectively.
In a statement released by Lukeman Owolabi, said “this initiative is in alignment with the objectives of MGI to promote mind sports at grassroots level in Nigeria and build future world champions.”
An online monitoring system will be deployed to forestall cheating during the tournament and the setup instructions can be found here – https://bit.ly/3lmDfos. Invigilators will also be assigned to participating schools where possible.
