Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) addresses recent media reports concerning a meeting held by the Senate and House of Representatives’ Joint Committee on Gas, which reviewed contracts for the Company’s Train 7 project. Some reports erroneously claimed that a company representative, Mr. Godson Dienye, commented on the alleged non-disclosure of project contract details.
NLNG clarifies that these statements attributed to Mr. Dienye are inaccurate and misleading. Although Mr. Dienye attended the proceeding, he was neither questioned nor did he make any statements during the session.
NLNG values its robust relationship with the National Assembly and adheres strictly to Nigerian laws, including those related to the Train 7 project. The company emphasizes its commitment to transparency and legal compliance in all its operations.

NLNG continues to cooperate fully and engage with the joint committee, ensuring all stakeholders have a shared understanding and working towards resolving any issues under consideration.
