The Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, has made it known that, Oyo State Financial Crimes Commission Bill which has already been passed into law by the Oyo State House of Assembly will be assented by him before this week runs out.
Engr Seyi made this known during a solidarity walk with officials of the EFCC in Ibadan yesterday, as part of the activities to mark this year’s International Anti-Corruption Day.
While speaking, governor Makinde said that ” the fight against corruption is the responsibility of all of us, as citizens, it is important that if we see corrupt practices in any sphere of government, we say something to authorities”.
This year’s theme for International Anto-Corruption Day is “Zero Tolerance To Corruption”.
