The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has inaugurated The Appeals Committee on Monday, 2nd December 2019.
As highlighted by the Governor in his Speech, the Appeals Committee was set up to carry out the following terms of reference-
- Mediate and balance the interest of the Citizens and Government in dispute resolution
- Provide public engagement channel for stakeholders
- Create platform for citizens to channel complaints to the Government amongst others.
Mr. Governor also reiterated the fact that the Committee is an important Body in the Law setting up the Physical Planning Regulations and this charged the Committee to always be independent during decision making.
The Members of the committee are Tpl. Adediran Ayodele (Chairman); Tpl. Ogunleye Makinde (member); Arc. Ajayi Abimbola (member); Barr. Bamidele Olukunle (member); Eng. Saliu Alao (member) and Surv. Adewebi O.V (member).
Others are Bldr. Owojori Bayo (member); Esv. Oyegbola Tunde (member); Qs. Oloyede Farotimi (member); Mrs. Lediju Folashade (member); Mr. Doyin Yakubu (member); Mr. Afuwape Babatunde (member); Barr. Idris Akinola (member) and Osinaike Kehinde (Secretary).
