As 2025 begins, the CIES Football Observatory has updated its valuations of the 100 players with the highest market value in world football. Notably, four of the top five players ply their trade in LALIGA, with Jude Bellingham leading the pack as the most valuable player globally (€251.4 million).

He is followed by Erling Haaland (€221.5 million), Vini Jr. (€205.7 million), Lamine Yamal (€180.3 million), and Kylian Mbappé (€175.2 million).

LALIGA’s ability to attract and develop top talent has been consistently evident in recent years, not just in the plethora of talent visible every weekend in Spanish stadiums, but also in the continuous and resounding success of the Spanish national team at both senior and youth level. Reports like this highlight the exceptional quality of players from LALIGA clubs.

Moreover, the representation extends beyond Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. For instance, Julián Álvarez (€125.2 million) is ranked 12th, while Nico Williams is ranked 76th, meaning that Atlético de Madrid and Athletic Club also feature prominently in this prestigious ranking.
