Guinness Nigeria PLC has announced the resignation of Mrs. Tariye Gbadegesin from its Board of Directors, effective February 24, 2024. Mrs. Gbadegesin’s decision follows her recent appointment as the Chief Executive Officer of the Climate Investment Funds (CIF). This exciting opportunity necessitates her stepping down from other professional commitments, including her position on the Board of Guinness Nigeria.
Mrs. Gbadegesin joined the Board in July 2022, bringing over 20 years of experience in finance, principal investments, and infrastructure development. During her tenure, she served as a valuable member of the Statutory Audit Committee and contributed significantly to the Company’s strategic direction through her innovative and insightful perspectives.
