The selected titles include After 30 (screening May 8), Soft Love (screening May 10), and the much-anticipated The Fire and the Moth (screening May 11). This marks an exciting moment for the studio as it continues to take African stories to global audiences.
Directed by Taiwo Egunjobi and produced by Emiola Fagbenle, The Fire and the Moth is one of Nemsia’s unreleased titles, making its screening at the festival a special early look for international viewers. The film is a deeply personal, emotional story that touches on grief, beauty, and the healing power of art. Through its striking visuals and heartfelt storytelling, The Fire and the Moth aims to leave a lasting impression on audiences both at home and abroad.
