The Oyo State Deputy Governor, Engr. Rauf Olaniyan, will deliver OkehoNews’ 18th year anniversary lecture. The community newspaper has given top notch reportage of Kajola Local Government. This was unveiled by Bola Olalere, the Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper.
According to a statement made available by Bola Olalere the editor-in-chief of the newspaper, the anniversary will hold at City International Hotel, Okeho on Friday, November 27, 2020 from 4pm to 7pm.
He added that, the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Rauf Olaniyan is the guest lecture of the day on the topic “The role of media in our society”
Part of the scheduled programme for the day includes presentation of appreciation and community development award to notable personalities who has contributed to the success story of the newspaper and the development of Kajola local government at large.
OkehoNews, which hit the newsstand in 2002, is the longest surviving community newspaper in Oyo State
