The Honourable member representing Kajola Local Government at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Musbau Azeez, popularly known as Hon. Action, has made a startling revelation regarding the disbursement of constituency funds allocated for the Kajola State Constituency.
In a report published by an online news platform, Hon. Action openly admitted that he shared the constituency allowance meant to serve the development needs of his constituents with his immediate predecessor, Honourable Akeem Mustapha, also known as Mugaty, who currently serves as the Chairman of Kajola Local Government.
According to Hon. Action, the sum of Seven Million, Two Hundred Thousand Naira (₦7,200,000.00) received after his inauguration into the state assembly was not solely utilized for constituency projects. Instead, the amount was split between himself and Hon. Mugaty.
He further disclosed that the second tranche of the constituency allowance is still being processed and has yet to be released.
