A Tanker loaded with Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) has along the UI-Ojoo axis of Ibadan, the Oyo state capital city.
The cause of incident which occured very close to Orogun Junction around 11pm, Sunday can not be immediately ascertained.
According to sources, the tanker immediately caught of fire the moment it fell off the road with the petrol content spreading to house around the area.
The Director of Fire Service said men of the Service have been contacted and that the men are already on their way to the location.
But, sources at the scene of the incident said the fire fighters have not reached the place as at the time of filling this report.
Many house are already been affected as a result of the spiking of the petrol which has continued to spread.
The source said “A tanker loading PMS fall along UI-Ojoo road few mins to 11pm.
“It immediately caught fire and has began to spread to some houses around that area.
“The Director of Fire said men of the service have been contacted and on their way now.
“But no fire service has reached the scene.
“More houses are being affected.”
