The President of the Association of Nigerian Community in China, Mr Maximus Ogbonna has said that Nigeria and China has many things in common. This was mentioned in a monitored interview on China Xinhua News today.
According to him, our common interest should serve as a stimulus to foster international friendship thereby growing together as friends in a mutual relationship.
According to him, “China has a good environment for business and this has made it easier for foreigners to establish there businesses there, as he further said that, ten years ago, tax payment was difficult, but now, it has become easier.”
Mr Ogbonna Maximus said his first soujourn to China was in 2003 and at he has become a stakeholder in the country. The Nigerian who can fluently communicate in Chinese language now said, he had taught his Chinese friends English Language and helped to enhance their multilingualism.
He urged the countries and the continent at large to continually enhance their relationship as this cooperation between Asia and Africa will bring a lot of positive impact to the development of the African continent.
Ogbonna is happily married to a Chinese and the union is blessed with two children.
That is good to know about the relationship between Nigeria and China. We hope that the said mutual agreements will benefit both parties and the countries should treat the other with equal respect.
