The S.B. Adebayo Foundation (Samad) has again demonstrated its commitment to education and community development with its recent Back-to-School Outreach program across some communities in Kwara South constituency on September 17th and 18th, 2025.

On September 17th, the Foundation, represented by Olayode Ola George, visited Jamat Muslim Primary School, Ora; ECWA Primary School, Ora, Ifelodun LGA; and Community Primary School, Kabba-Dongari. Pupils and teachers welcomed the donation of essential school items worth thousands of naira with excitement and gratitude.
Olayode said ” Samad Foundation has come to the realisation that government cannot do it alone, so our Foundation is here to help in our own little ways to inspire hope through education for a better tomorrow. Our principal, Hon. Ademola Adebayo believes in the power of education as a tool for emancipation and empowerment for a better tomorrow and so, he has sent us through the Foundation to donate these materials to various Primary Schools in Kwara South”
At Kabba-Dongari, a community predominantly inhabited by Fulani and Hausa settlers, the outreach sparked hope in an environment where education is often undervalued. Teachers noted that the donation of the back -to- school souvenirs by the Foundation would encourage more parents to enrol their wards in the school because of this art of charity.
“This visit is a blessing to us,” said a teacher at Community Primary School, Kabba-Dongari. “Many of our pupils come from families that struggle to provide even basic school items. Samad Foundation has given these children a reason to carry on with education and a stronger reason to stay in school.”
Community leaders also expressed appreciation while highlighting the community’s broader needs.
“We are grateful for the gifts,” said one of the village leaders. “Our children need more than books; they need shoes, water and even means of transportation for their teachers. But today, Samad Foundation has shown us that we are not forgotten.”
The outreach continued on September 18th with visits to Wesley Primary Schools 1 & 2, Offa; Igosun Muslim School, Offa; and St. James LGEA Primary School I & II, Offa.
At Wesley Primary School, teachers and pupils received the donated items joyfully, offering heartfelt prayers for the Foundation’s leadership.
“What Samad Foundation has done for our children is beyond relief materials,” said Mrs. Adebayo, a teacher at Wesley School. “They have given parents encouragement and given children dignity. May the Foundation never lack the strength to continue this good work.”
The same atmosphere of joy resonated across Igosun Muslim School and St. James LGEA Primary Schools, where pupils expressed excitement while holding their new supplies.
“We thank Samad Foundation for remembering schools like ours,”*said the Head Teacher of St. James LGEA Primary School. “This gesture will stay in the hearts of our pupils for a long time.”
Across all the schools visited, the common message was one of gratitude and hope. Beyond the materials provided, the Foundation’s presence served as a reminder that education remains the strongest tool for transforming communities.
