The International Public Relations Association (IPRA) has endorsed the 32nd annual conference of African Public Relations Association (APRA) scheduled to hold May 11-15, 2020 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
This endorsement is the fifth in a row as IPRA continues to build a strong relationship with APRA and PR Professionals in Africa.
In a letter shared by the Secretary-General, Phillip Shepperd, “IPRA is delighted to endorse APRA Tanzania 2020 and are proud to be associated with the continental body setting the standards for the practice of PR in Africa.” he said.
Responding to the endorsement, the President of APRA, Mr Yomi Badejo-Okusanya commended IPRA for believing in APRA and the PR Professionals in Africa through their consistent support since 2016. “Indeed, Africa is rising” he added.

It is expected to gather over 300 participants to brainstorm on how PR Professionals can integrate themselves in the Continental Free Trade Area (CFTA) and build trust.
